My mom’s most embarrassing moment
My mom and dad were at York Beach in Maine enjoying the gorgeous weather and each other. The water was rough and the waves were crashing at the shore. Grabbing her boogie board, my mom never expected what would happen next!
When she was out in the water a huge wave came and she was trying to catch it,when it crashed on her.It flipped her over and she fell off her boogie board.She landed on her head and she didn’t realize her legs were straight in the air and her head was in the sand. It was one of the most awkward positions that she had ever been in. When she stood up she was mad that my dad was laughing at her because her legs were sticking up in the air and she didn’t know it.
“Ouch, that really hurt!” my mom exclaimed.
“Are you ok?” my dad said with a huge smile on his face.
“I hit my head on the bottom and now I just want to go rest on the beach,” my mom said.
My mom remembers this moment as one of the most embarrassing in her life.It didn’t stop her from ever boogie boarding again though.She even went back into the water that same day.She just looks back at it now and laughs.
